College of Nursing: 82.35% Passing percentage |

 The College of Nursing achieved a passing rate of 82.35% in the July 2010 Nursing Licensure Exams. Of the 17 examinees of CSA-B Nursing Batch 2010, 14 successfully hurdled the PRC-regulated exams. Seven other examinees from previous batches of the College of Nursing joined Batch 2010 during the board exams of July 2010, bringing the total number of examinees to 24. Of these, 17 passed the exams, bringing CSA-B's passing percentage for first-time-takers to 70.83%. Congratulations to all the successful examinees!

Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod celebrates the annual St. Augustine Festivities beginning August 26, 2010, culminating on August 28, 2010, the feast day of St. Augustine. This year's celebration bears the theme "Let Everything Be Yours in Charity", echoing the first of the three core Augustinian values of Caritas, Unitas and Veritas (Charity, Unity, Truth).
The highlights of this year's festivities include the Velada, the St. Augustine Scholarship Contest, Literary-Musical Contest, Search for Mr. and Miss CSA-B 2010, an inter-school Battle of the Bands, fireworks display and the Annual Alumni Homecoming.

Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod hosted this year's annual convention of the Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines-Tertiary Level. Held on August 12-13, 2010 at various venues within the campus, the convention bore the theme, "New Directions and Issues in Mathematics Education: Beyond the Next Decade".
The annual convention, which is endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education, aims to bring together mathematics educators and researchers in the country to discuss the current issues and trends in the teaching and assessment of mathematics learning.

CSA-B's Golden Jubilee Press Conference |

Colegio San Agustin - Bacolod conducted a press conference on the launching of its Golden Jubilee last July 6, 2010. The press conference, held at the school auditorium, was attended by representatives of the local broadcast and print media. These included press people from Sunshine Channel 14, DYRL Abyan Radyo, DYWB Bombo Radyo, ABS-CBN Corporation, Sun.Star Bacolod, Radyo Veritas, Negros Daily Bulletin, DYHB RMN-Bacolod and Panay News Bacolod, among others.

Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod unveiled its Golden Jubilee Logo during the Official Launching of the Golden Jubilee Celebration on July 8, 2010. The logo incorporates pertinent aspects of CSA-B's history, identity, vision and mission, all encapsulated in a visual collage that captures the Augustinian spirit of "oneness of mind and heart".
