THE TEACHING EFFICACY OF TEACHERS AT A SELECTED SCHOOL

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the teaching efficacy of Basic Education Department teachers of a Selected School S.Y 2013-2014. Fundamentally, the research was based from the concept of Albert Bandura’s Self Efficacy which eventually led to related studies and researches on teaching efficacy. More so, the researcher use Bandura’s Instrument Teaching Efficacy Scale questionnaire. The respondents of the study were 20 teachers coming from Grade Fourth to Fourth year. Descriptive statistics and independent samples T-test were used for data analyses. This research confirms that the teaching efficacy of the teachers at the selected school was high. The findings may be useful for further related studies and researches on teaching efficacy.
