This represents Saint Augustine as a soaring Eagle because of his lofty intellect.  He is called the “Eagle of Hippo.”

The symbol of love/charity, which is the core of Augustine’s teaching on love for  God, service to neighbors and care of  environment.

“Take up and Read”. The words heard from the voice by Saint Augustine leading to his conversion to Catholicism in the year 387.

Augustinian Schools. It captures the aims of Augustinian education which empower the intellect with high quality education (“Scientia”) and the will with Christian Catholic Virtues (“Virtus”) for the glory of God and service to humanity.
