Thrive360: Building Resilience, Nurturing Well-Being, Empowering Leaders

  • September 14, 2025
At CSAB, the well-being of students is seen as an important foundation for academic success and personal growth. Thrive360 was inspired by the research of Dr. Ana Roberta C. Guanco, LPT, RPsy, Head of CSAB’s Psychology Program, which showed that psychology students have high levels of resilience and positive mental well-being, and that these two are strongly connected. The study revealed a simple truth: when students are resilient, they take care of their well-being; and when their well-being is strong, they become even more resilient.

With this as a starting point, Thrive360 was launched not only as a program but as a movement for the Augustinian community. Rooted in the values of Unity, Charity, and Truth, the program seeks to care for the whole person: mind, heart, and relationships. It aims to help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially, while preparing them to extend compassion and service to others in line with the Augustinian mission.

The initiative also serves as a platform for continuous research and collaboration, ensuring that its activities respond to the real needs of students. Through the support of teachers, guidance professionals, and support services units, as well as the involvement of student leaders, Thrive360 builds a community of care on campus. It empowers Augustinians to be role models and advocates for mental wellness, fostering an environment where everyone feels supported.

While it began with psychology, Thrive360 extends to all Augustinian students, recognizing that mental health is a universal concern. By including student leaders from various disciplines, the program magnifies its impact, promoting peer support and creating a culture of wellness that reaches every corner at CSAB.

At its core, Thrive360 embodies the school’s mission of forming Augustinian students who not only succeed in their studies but also grow as resilient, compassionate leaders ready to serve others. Its message resonates across the community: mental well-being is not just a personal journey, it is a shared responsibility, a culture, and a movement that unites the entire CSAB family.
