CSAB Faculty Presents Study on Eco-Rangers at Global Biodiversity Conference

  • October 4, 2025
Mr. Plaridel Tison, Jr., a faculty member of CSAB, presented his research at the Global Biodiversity Conservation Conference held on October 1, 2025, at Malagos Garden Resort in Davao City.

His paper, titled “The Lived Experiences of Former Environmental Law Offenders Turned Forest and Marine Protected Area Rangers in Negros Island, Philippines,” explored the transformation journeys of individuals who once violated environmental laws but have since become protectors of the island’s ecological resources. The study highlighted themes of rehabilitation, stewardship, and community-based conservation.

We thank Mr. Tison for representing CSAB and highlighting our school’s commitment to environmental research, sustainability advocacy, and contributing to national and global conversations on biodiversity protection.
