CSAB Mechanical Engineering students proudly earned honors during the Mechanical Engineering Week held on October 20–25 at the Technological University of the Philippines–Talisay City, sponsored by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME). CSAB secured 1st Runner-up in both the Machine Design Competition and the AutoCAD Competition, and 2nd Runner-up in the Mechanical Engineering Quiz Bowl, showcasing the strength and excellence of its ME program. Representing CSAB in the Quiz Bowl were Jodel S. Delar, Mike Ryan P. Esquivel, and Renxon L. Soriba (all 4th Year); in the Machine Design Contest were Mark Anthony F. Bontia (4th Year), Alfred R. Castañeda (3rd Year), Erickson Kharl T. Espiritu (4th Year), Mayo Jr. H. Hechanova (3rd Year), and Kristian Aaron P. Gallardo (2nd Year); and in the AutoCAD Contest were Dax Steven E. Empleo (3rd Year) and Philip Neri E. Elchico (2nd Year).
