VIVA, SAN AGUSTIN! Excellence continues to define the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod as it successfully earned Level III re-accredited status from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), with accreditation valid until February 2031.
The renewed accreditation affirms that CSAB’s Nursing program consistently meets rigorous national standards in instruction, faculty competence, instructional facilities, research, community engagement, and student services. Level III status is granted only to programs that demonstrate sustained excellence and a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement.
CSAB’s Nursing program was the first nursing school in Negros Occidental to receive Level III accreditation from PAASCU, setting a benchmark for quality nursing education in the region. The program is also a member of the US-based National League for Nursing (NLN) and maintains international collaborations with educational institutions and partner agencies such as Premium Care USA, which helps open pathways for the international employment of graduates.
Equipped with a high-fidelity Nursing Arts Laboratory, the program provides advanced simulation-based training that strengthens students’ clinical competence and readiness for professional practice. Since 1975, CSAB has produced thousands of professional nurses who now serve in healthcare institutions across the Philippines and around the world.
With its Level III accreditation secured until 2031, CSAB continues to offer a trusted and high-quality pathway for aspiring nurses, forming professionals committed to competence, compassion, and excellence in healthcare service.
The entire CSAB community lauds and commends the administration, faculty, and students of its Nursing program whose dedication, hard work, and shared pursuit of excellence continue to uphold the institution’s strong tradition of quality nursing education.
Congratulations and soar higher, Augustinians!
