CSAB Psyc Students Win Top Honors at USLS Research Caravan

CSAB’s BS Psychology program made a strong mark at the 10th College of Arts and Sciences Research Caravan of University of St. La Salle, held March 9, 2026 at Cody Hall, after bringing home top awards for student research.
 
Leading the win was the study “𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘈𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘎𝘗𝘛 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘚 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴,” which captured 1st Place. The research was presented by Joylyn Concepcion with team members Mekaela Bermudez, Nichollen Fhaye De Vera, John Marvin Guerrero, and Jenny Marie Rafael, examining how students navigate emerging AI tools like ChatGPT in their learning.
 
Another CSAB team secured 2nd Place for “𝘋𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴,” presented by Jamela Billones with Rechica David, Garyl Dean Loro, Carla Magtubo, and Blessy Grace Olasiman.
