Kalinaw Chorale, a performing arts group of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod (CSA – B), was named 2nd Runner-Up in the Adult Category of the Koro: National Choral Competition held on August 2 at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila.
The event, organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), featured eight adult choral groups from NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao as part of the Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP) 2025 celebration. The competition also included a Children’s Choral Concert and highlighted Filipino choral works in live performances.
The Augustinian community expresses pride in Kalinaw Chorale’s achievement, recognizing their contribution to promoting Filipino music and culture.
