CSAB proudly celebrates the achievement of its BSIT students for securing a spot among the Top 10 Finalists in the First Regional AI for Developing Ethical and Applicable Solutions (AI.DEAS 2025) sponsored by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). The regional competition brings together young innovators from across Western Visayas and the Negros Island Region to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills through AI–driven solutions.
With their innovative project, CSAB’s IT students under the Augustinian Computer Society (ACS) earned a place among the best teams in the region including West State University, Aklan State University, St. Anthony’s College, Bago City College, Central Philippine Adventist College, and University of St. La Salle. There were over 30 colleges and universities that joined the regional IT event.
The CSAB’s ACS will advance to the Final Round on September 9–10, 2025, where they will once again present their work and compete for the top prize.
The Augustinian Community congratulates the team, advisers, and the rest of the students of CSAB’s Information Technology Program for this achievement, and wishes them all the best for the final round.
Soar higher, Augustinians! Viva, San Agustin!!!
