Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod celebrated a strong performance at the National Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) Business Plan Competition, as its delegates from the College of Accountancy, Business Education and Computer Studies (CABECS) earned top awards against national competitors.
The team won Champion in the Service Category (SERVICIO SmartCX): George Alfred Padasas, Azzia Andrea Esta, Sandara Detomal, Khailon Damasco, and Joan Patubo, mentored by Mrs. Jorend Mae Ledesma.
They secured 1st Runner-Up in the Food Category (HUNGIT): Mary Francine Javiero, Stephen Señoron, Allen Dofeliz, Destine Ray Tia, and Renzo Pescante, coached by Ms. Nicole Guttierez and Ms. Pearl Joy Ortiz.
They team also earned 1st Runner-Up in the Non-Food Category (AGAP Hibla): Desiree Bastian, Althea Von Barraca, Ashein Gail Guarino, Edsan Asher Calinao, and Hannah Louise Dy, mentored by Mr. Carolino Gamlanga Jr.
In the IT Category (VERIFACT), national finalists were Dwayne Bantigue, Krisler Apolinario , Xian Longo , Japhet Miranda, and Kingstone Starita, coached by Mr. Sunny Bucayani and Program Head Kurt Guirnela.
The team was supported and guided by CABECS Dean Fr. Manuel Vergara, OSA and Associate Dean, Mr. Louie Pagdato, MBA, CMMS.
