The Nursing Program of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod has marked a historic achievement as the first nursing school in the region to participate in the National League for Nursing (NLN) Education Summit 2025, held on September 18, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, Orlando, Florida.
Centered on the theme “The Challenge: Unraveling the Mysteries of AI,” the summit convened distinguished global leaders in nursing education. CSA-B was proudly represented by Dr. Helen Salgado, PhD, RN, and Ms. Lourdes Ivaliz Iledan, MN, RN, who engaged in vital conversations with nursing experts, including Dr. Beverly Malone, Chief Executive Officer of the NLN.
This milestone reflects CSAB’s steadfast commitment to advancing nursing education and strengthening its role in the global academic and healthcare community. The CSAB Nursing Program proudly stands as the first in the region to earn Level III accreditation status from PAASCU, bolstered by its cutting-edge, high-fidelity Nursing Arts Laboratory and a distinguished roster of 100% qualified clinical instructors and faculty devoted to excellence in teaching, research, and practice.
