CSAB Joins Global Thought Leaders at Asia-Pacific Research Conference

Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod proudly participated in the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Educational Research, Social Science and Humanities (APCERSSH) held on September 25–26, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Organized by the New Delhi Institute of Management (India), Shinawatra University (Thailand), and the IFERP Academy – Thailand Society, the international conference brought together delegates from the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Morocco, Mexico, Peru, and the USA.

CSAB was represented by Ms. Sheryl May Cuarte, faculty of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), and Dr. Noeda Madamesila, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Engagement (RIE), who both served as oral presenters. Dr. Madamesila presented “Beyond Numbers: Indigenous Quantification Techniques of Indigenous Communities in Negros Occidental, Philippines,” a study co-authored with Mr. Eduardo Bacodio, Jr. Meanwhile, Ms. Cuarte shared her research, “Storytelling the IP Way: Uncovering the Rituals and Beliefs of Indigenous Peoples.” They were joined by college and SHS research instructors, Ms. Jillian Salanap and Mr. Plaridel Tison, Jr., who participated in various conference sessions and academic engagements eyeing for opportunities for international linkages and exchange programs for CSAB’s Senior High School and Teacher Education students.
