CSAB joins CHED Seminar-Workshop, Eyes ODeL and ETEEAP Implementation

  • March 20, 2026
CSAB participated in the recent seminar-workshop on Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) and the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), jointly conducted by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Offices VI and XVIII. The institution was represented by Dr. Randdie Cuelo, VP for Academic Affairs, Mr. Karl Laurenz Diamante, Quality Assurance Director, and Mr. Louie Pagdato, Associate Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business and Computer Studies.

The two-day training, themed “Digital Pathways Without Borders: Enhancing Open, Distance, and e-Learning (ODeL) for an Interconnected Philippine Higher Education System,” aimed to guide higher education institutions in strengthening flexible learning delivery and aligning with national policies under CHED Memorandum Order No. 12, s. 2025 (ODeL), and Republic Act No. 12124 (ETEEAP).

Through its participation, CSAB signifies its intent to pursue application and deputization for both ODeL and ETEEAP, in support of CHED’s thrust to expand access to higher education—particularly for working professionals and adult learners seeking flexible and alternative pathways to complete their degrees.

Grounded in its mission, CSAB embraces this initiative as a way of extending its educational ministry—reaching learners beyond traditional boundaries.
